Small Biz Gift Ideas:Madison’s Audubon Shop 2012 Eagle Watches On The CT River
Over the next few weeks, I am going to be featuring some great gift ideas from our small businesses in the State of Connecticut.Small business is what made this country great, and is always one of the major contributors to rebuilding our economy whenever it has gone through a major downturn. Typically at least 60% of their revenue from sales stays within their state. But most importantly, they are our friends, neighbors, and relatives. And, for the record, not all of them our are paid “advertisers”. Many our people who have helped me, be it by supplying content, or just a helping hand. After all, I too, am a small business.
So let’s start off with The Audubon Shop of Madison’s Eagle Watch…..
Leader Jerry Connolly of The Audubon Shop will help participants spot eagles from a variety of locations on this land-based trip along the shore of the river, and will discuss the bird’s natural history. A variety of wintering birds will be seen.

Dates include (Saturdays) Jan 28, Feb 4, 11, 18, 25, and Mar. 3, 2012.
Tickets are $20.00, and include a soup & sandwich lunch at Oliver’s Taverne in Essex.
