The Branford Academy Of Hair and Cosmetology

The Branford Academy of Hair and Cosmetology brings world-class education and training to the Connecticut shoreline. And it’s the only solely female owned school that we know of on the East Coast!

Under the expert guidance and loving direction of founder Diana Leonardi-Discher, Branford’s cosmetology program is one of the most complete, full service programs available. The course furnishes students with the necessary training to become a cosmetologist, manicurist, make-up artist, salon owner, manager, colorist and cosmetology instructor. The highly skilled staff has many years of experience in the industry. Each is a licensed cosmetologist, teaching students using the most advanced techniques found at no other school.

In an atmosphere of one- on- one salon training students acquire skills that will not only make them a great living, but will teach necessary people skills and creativity, keeping them at the top of the ever-growing hair and cosmetology industry long after graduation.

The program can be accomplished in 10 months for students who can study full time. Part time students are also welcome, and can expect to complete their certification in 16 to 18 months.
