Valentine’s Day Done Right: Myers Flowers and Red Rooster Cookies

Guys, this post is for you. As always, I get your back come VALENTINE’S DAY  which is TUESDAY. That would be FEBRUARY 14th. Not only will I be tweeting and FB’ing this, I will also G+, Linkedin it. Now if you should miss it, and totally forget the date, it will not be my fault. No way you can say you did not remind me.

Now I have reminded you, let me give you a few hints here. There are a ton of restaurants that are offering great deals,so make your reservation NOW! If you do not do it NOW, you will forget. Just think how uncomfortable that couch is. Reality is also this. The great restaurants will fill up quickly. It’s also a school night, so you might get away with making it for next weekend, but still get the job done.

Here is another hint for you. Whether or not you do the restaurant thing, you should walk through the door with something in your hands. Traditionally, a dozen roses and a box of chocolates. Not very creative, so here is a very nice twist on that. Instead of a dozen roses (which you can still do) how about a flower arrangement featuring roses and a dozen cookies? But not just any old arrangement, and a bag of oreo’s. Do it right. Get the flowers from Myers Flowers in Branford  and Red Rooster Baking Company in Guilford.
